Here is another project for SWTC. It's their Silk t using their new yarn Amerah. It is 100% silk and comes in 50g/89m balls. They requested a size medium for this sweater. Once again swatching proved interesting. Whereas for the Twize I needed to go down in needle size to obtain gauge, the Amerah needed to go up in needle size. The pattern suggests US 5 & 7's, and I ended up using 7 & 9's.Silk

Oh, this is one fun quick knit. I was asked by SWTC to knit up this tank for them in one of their new yarns. It is their Twize in Twink. The Twize is their 100% Bamboo. This picture is a darn good color representation (at least on my monitor).This stuff is soooo soft going through your fingers. It reminds me of rayon. It is heavy (weight). Decided to chart out at least 40 more rows making the total rows for clue 4 to be around 82. Rough blocked 40 rows is 8", and relaxed is 6". Well my last order from KnitPicks arrived. This time Shadow, their 100% Merino Lace yarn came to live in my stash. I ordered Oregon Coast, Grape Jelly and Lost Lake. Whoo hoo is is a fun knit! Actually have to pay a bit of attention to it on the off rows as there is some pattern going on at this point. It didn't start until round 40. Here's some stats so far. Had to check it out. My curiosity like the title states . . . got the best of me. Rough blocked half of it out. Look what came via UPS today. SWTC has asked me to make a sweater for them from a design of Lorna Miser's. It's called The Art of Comfort Pullover.The pattern uses SWTC's Oasis and Bamboo. Well today is the big day! Klaryreez is to make her appearance. Well it better be Klaryreez or everyone is going to be surprised. The ultrasound suggested a girl and that's our story and we're going to stick to it! Mom is having a C-section this afternoon.
