It's their Silk t using their new yarn Amerah. It is 100% silk and comes in 50g/89m balls. They requested a size medium for this sweater. Once again swatching proved interesting. Whereas for the Twize I needed to go down in needle size to obtain gauge, the Amerah needed to go up in needle size. SWTC has asked me to make a sweater for them from a design of Lorna Miser's. It's called The Art of Comfort Pullover.The pattern uses SWTC's Oasis and Bamboo. The Oasis is 100% Soy Silk, while the Bamboo is 100% bamboo. Working on the swatches, both put me in mind of cotton. The Oasis feels like rayon while the Bamboo is rather harsh to the hand.
